• Responsible for growing, "up selling" and maintaining small to mid-market business and/ or State and Local Public Sector accounts
• Secure sales opportunities by calling on large businesses and organizations
• Effectively manage sales pipeline and achieve quarterly and annual sales quota
• Close business to business deals effectively
• Hold frequent face-to-face presentations, meetings and sales calls
• Produce effective outbound sales and marketing activities to generate new leads
• Prepare proposals
• Maintain constant contact with new and existing clients to positively manage the business relationship
• Manage, organize, and update relevant data using applicable sales database applications (Salesforce.com)
• Work with Marketing to insure campaign delivery objectives
• Follow up on all leads generated by advertising, trade shows, mailings, Web site, and other media
• Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Action Sales Plan.
• Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and territories and provide this information on a regular basis to the Management.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for those accounts and territories assigned.
• Be able to personally conduct a basic product demonstration (hardware and software).
