Title: Lead Naval Architect Location: Aberdeen Salary: Dependent on experience Con/Staff: Staff Start date: ASAP Company Key Responsibilities & Personal Attributes Due to continued strong growth, they are looking to appoint a Lead Naval Architect to join their team in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Floating Structures Team Leader within their Structures and Pipelines Engineering Group, the main responsibilities are as follows: • Lead technical delivery teams and undertake analysis of floating offshore structures Job Requirements The successful applicant will be a Chartered Naval Architect holding at least an upper second class honours degree in Naval Architecture and have a proven track record of relevant experience: • Structural analysis of floating structures You will also need good communication skills, including technical report writing; the ability to work to tight deadlines and adaptability. There may also be a requirement for the engineer filling this position to work in client or designers' offices for temporary periods.
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience. • Degree Qualified Engineer (or equivalent)
