Senior Project Engineer jobs in Aberdeen

Our client a global engineering provider to the offshore oil & gas industry with a deepwater focus require a Senior Project Engineer - Subsea.

Duties will include;
• Lead project teams and be involved in planning design and production of engineering equipment
• Be in control of all aspects of the projects including costing, schedule, technical aspects and customer relations
• Work within the QA requirements
• Prepare engineering calculations and analysis
• Review & check drawing and calculations
• Prepare conceptual studies regarding relevant technical operational topics
• Undertake risk assessments on all aspects of the operational activities

Required Skills/Experience:
Be able to demonstrate a history of managing projects with responsibility for technical content cost control, schedule, performance and customer interface.
Experience as a design engineer - or relevant role working on offshore subsea projects

Desired Skills/Experience:
Would have familiarity with marine and offshore production equipment and operations in particular
• Subsea Operations Support
• ROV's and related tooling
• Lifting and handling systems
• Structural steel work
• Pressure vessels and Pipework
• Hydraulid Pneumatic Systems
• Electrical power and Electrical control systems

You would also have a working knowledge of MS project, Autocad, Mathcad and Solidworks
