Plough Supervisor - Permanent 28:28 rotation (London & Norway)

Desired Skills/Experience:
Candidates are desired who have been working in this role previously but will be considered if they have held a Plough Technicians position

Reporting to the Marine Ops Superintendent & the Equipment Superintendent the ‘Plough Supervisor' is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all equipment and associated documents and paperwork are maintained. During operations the ‘Plough Supervisor' will need to be able to offer solutions and equipment support interfacing.
The position will be an office based role initially within the offices in London and after a few weeks move to Norway on a 28:28 rotation.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
Operations

• Ensure safe operational functionality of the Plough equipment during trenching operations, in order to meet the contract specification and avoid damage to subsea assets.
• Attend operation briefings.
• Liaise closely with all team members including the vessel Captain, Deck Foreman, Safety representative and the Plough Technicians. Making the relevant person aware of any observations or incidents which may be considered abnormal.
• Be conversant with all the technical aspects of the contract.
• Ensure that the system is demobilised in an appropriate manor.

Maintenance & Repair
• Manage the maintenance activities of the Plough and the support equipment.
• Implement and organise any approved modifications to the system, ensuring that all changes are fully documented following company procedures.
• Ensure spares and consumables are ordered in sufficient time.
