Reservoir Engineer jobs in Aberdeen

An independent E & P company with interests in the North Sea & Norway, are looking to increase the productivity of their operations by bringing on a reservoir engineer to build on the current highly experienced subsurface team. They have a diverse portfolio with further exploration prospects.

Key responsibilities within the role will include:

• Managing of PVT analysis, special core studies and routine core analysis
• Determining phase behaviour and EOS characterisation
• Updating GAP/resolve block wide field development planning and forecasting models, as well as recommendations
• Building and maintenance of dynamic simulation models
• Provide reservoir engineering input for well proposals
• Evaluating impact of development wells

Desired Skills/Experience

• Effective and proven organisational skills (time management, multi tasking, etc)
• Excellent understanding of reservoir evaluation techniques, reservoir modelling and simulation
• Reservoir management and production forecasting skills

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will be degree educated within a relevant Science such as Reservoir Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.

Desired Qualifications

A masters degree would be seen as an advantage.
