Senior Pipeline Engineer jobs in Aberdeen

Our client, an international Energy and Offshore business that are considered to be the foremost authority within their field and has worked internationally since 1867 and has established approximately 300 offices in 100 different countries. They are seeking highly skilled, self motivated, market orientated individuals to implement and develop our strategy to stay at the forefront of pipeline.

The Opportunity

A great opportunity for a Senior Pipeline Engineer with a background in providing technology based solutions to solve technical challenges both in the upstream & downstream markets.

The role will involve the following:-
• Third party verification of all aspects of design, installation and maintenance of onshore and offshore pipeline
• Supervision of other engineers
• Management of small to medium sized projects
• Occasional site visits
• Contribute to research and development of national and international standards
• Consultancy work
• Client & Customer Liaison

Required Background & Skills

You will ideally have some if not all of the following:

• Familiarity with recognized national and international design codes
• Design experience of offshore facilities
• Good Project Management skills
• Good communication and mentoring skills
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent engineering analysis and technical assessment skills
• Good networking skills and willing to apply the clients knowledge globally

Principle - Ideally would be chartered with background in relevant area

Senior Engineer - Would be working towards being chartered and would hope to move into a more senior positions in the future.

Required Qualifications
