Job Description:

Our client applies expert petroleum engineering skills to the design and performance of oil and gas wells They provide specialist well and production engineering services spanning the entire oilfield life cycle, from exploration and appraisal drilling right through to well abandonment.
The need for several engineers is following an unprecedented company growth locally and internationally, both in scale and in its reputation as a high quality specialist company.

Working within the new and vibrant offices in either London, Aberdeen, Dubai, Norway & Houston a need has arisen for Senior & Principle Petroleum Engineers who will focus on short term client assignments, some study work & will include but not be limited to the following;

• Conceptual to detailed field, well and completion option selection and design and field development planning, including decision, risk and economic analysis
• Flow modelling, nodal analysis and optimisation for reservoir near-wellbore and lower completion behaviour, single well and integrated asset networks
• Sand failure analysis, control and management
• Artificial lift design, analysis and optimisation
• Downhole, subsea and surface data system feasibility definition, design and management
• Production behaviour monitoring, reporting, analysis and definition of remedial intervention and optimisation strategies
• Well integrity management
• Well and production risk, reliability and availability modelling
• Asset evaluation and due diligence
• Production engineering functional consulting including client capability development, technology programme management and development of petroleum engineering management and governance systems

• Demonstrate relevant production technology and operational experience with an operating oil company and/or major service company or consultancy
• Strong analytical approach to solving complex technical problems in a multi-disciplined environment
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach towards clients and colleagues
• Ability to work on own initiative, without regular guidance or immediate supervision
• PC literate and familiar with engineering software applications

• Excellent reporting and presentation skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

Degree in Science or Engineering discipline

Desired Qualifications

MSc in Petroleum Engineering would be desired
