Inspection Engineer jobs in Aberdeenshire

Minimum 5 years relevant Industry experience in one or more Engineer positions, including Inspection, Mechanical, Plant Contact, and/or Maintenance.
Knowledgeable with relevant Industry standards, including API and ASME codes, and degradation mechanisms for Refinery hydrocarbon and utility systems.
Knowledgeable of relevant NDT and fabrication techniques, and their application.
Strong analytical / problem solving skills. Reasonable IT skills
Strong communication and team working skills
Competent person in terms of PSSR
Prepare and administer risk based equipment strategies (written schemes)
Plan and co-ordinate inspection services
Write and review inspection reports, assess results, update strategies
Liaise with the Business Team, Maintenance, and Process functions, including risk assessment, problem resolution, and work process improvement
Technical proposal and evaluation for maintenance, repair, and supply of new equipment, liaising with Suppliers, Contractors, and Project teams.
Keep abreast with and introduce new technologies to meet Business needs
