Chief Engineer jobs in Aberdeen

We are looking for Chief Engineers with proven DP knowledge to work within Global Marine and Offshore engineering consultancy.

Job Description:

Global Marine and Offshore engineering consultancy offering a complete life cycle services to clients spanning the globe. They have a strong presence in the North Sea and perform support functions to rig moving operations and complete surveying activities. Operationally they cover the North sea marine operations and in addition they are heavily involved in warranty surveying.

Their Aberdeen offices engineering teams are looking for proven Chief Engineers with offshore vessel (AHTS, Semi Subs, Jack Ups, Construction vessels etc) experience. The typical projects you would be involved with would include (but not limited):
- Inspection and analysis activities
- Offshore vessel visits
- FMEA, FMECA reports
- Audits and incident investigations
- Client reports and recommendations

Required Skills/Experience:

In this fantastic role you will ideally posses the following:

- Class 1 COC unlimited
- Ideally degree educated
- Offshore marine vessel Engineering of floating & fixed structures
- DP Knowledge preferably DP2 & DP3
- Excellent technical ability
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
