An opportunity has arisen for a proven Senior Naval Architect to work as Team Leader for Marine and Offshore engineering consultancy
Job Description:
An established specialist engineering consultancy based in United Arab Emirate with a long history within the Maritime & Oil & Gas Industry. They provide Marine, Engineering and consultancy services to Operators, Owners, Government and service companies internationally. Their head office in the Middle East is looking to enhance their engineering capabilities with the addition of a Principle Naval Architect.

In this senior role you will form part of the engineering team working on:

• Design, design verification and engineering support services to the Oil & Gas sector for fixed, floating and jack up structures.
• Structural integrity management services for existing offshore assets, which includes management of inspection programmes, emergency response services and engineering and analysis of modifications to the facilities.
• Strengthening, repair and modification of offshore facilities.
• Disaster incident recovery studies including forensic analysis as required.
• Engineering and project management of the decommissioning of offshore structures.
• Engineering support and project management services to the offshore wind farm and alternative renewable industries.
• Specialist research and development work in support of offshore installation work and ongoing operations.

You will possess a Degree in Naval Architecture and ideally be chartered, this is coupled with a proven background and understanding of Marine operations i.e. Load out, Transportation and installation. Knowledge of jacket installation and exposure to design elements of offshore structures is key.
