Marine Specialist Coordinator jobs in Norway

In this highly crucial role based in Norway you will be very involved in the Marine Assurance and vessel operations for a key client an international operator. The successful incumbent with be heavily involved in the following:

- Working alongside project and vessel operations teams with regards to vessel capabilities and marine risk associated with operating on the Norwegian continental shelf.
- Secure agreement for a programme's of Marine Assurance to be approved by BP the operator Aberdeen and then applied to the subject and Marine activities.
- Monitoring and reviewing marine assurance activities and looking at KPI's with the view to ensure assurance program's meet clients expectations
- Client interfacing, review meeting and feedback with regards to Marine Operations

In addition to the above this will over Management of HSE, quality, Human resources, cost, schedule and customer driven environment, report writing, customer liaison and relationship management.

Required Skills/Experience

You will have a background in the Offshore Sector with a proven background in offshore marine operations including; offshore towage, rig moving, offshore construction etc. Understanding of the offshore legislation relating to marine assurance and operations in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Required Qualifications

Key background:

- Class 1 Master Mariner (Unlimited)
- Valid Offshore Survival Certificate
- Ideally ISM Auditor
- Fluent in Norwegian
