Senior Foundations Engineer jobs in England

Our Client, a Major International Oil & Gas Engineering & Pipelay Company requires a Senior Foundations Engineer to work in the Engineering Department of their Surrey based UK Project Offices.

You will be responsible for the performance of Foundations / Geotechnical Engineering for the engineering group and the supervision of Geotechnical Engineers.

Job Description:
Our Client, a Major International Oil & Gas Engineering & Pipelay Company requires a Senior Foundations Engineer to work in the Engineering Department of their Surrey based UK Project Offices.
The type of duties the candidate should have conducted are:
- Interpretative Soil Parameters Report
- Detailed design of subsea structure foundations which included the effects of soil strength increase over time and accounting for the affects of combined torsion and sliding loads
- Offshore pipeline trenching support providing geotechnical advice during trenching operation
- Protection structure/manifold foundation design....

Required Skills/Experience:
You will come from a foundations / geotechnical engineering background, with knowledge of soils mechanics and ideally with a structural background / structural experience.

Desired Skills/Experience:
Must have experience in Geotechnics involving offshore structures, submarine pipelines and pile driving.

Required Qualifications:
Degree qualified ideally within Civil Engineering with Postgraduate Studies or specialization within specialisation in Foundations engineering, geo - environmental engineering, advanced soil and rock mechanics.

Desired Qualifications:
Must have experience in Geotechnics involving offshore structures, submarine pipelines and pile driving.
