The Role

This is a real need for a Senior Planning Engineer with a strong background planning activities for oil and gas projects in the UAE, in this crucial role you will be involved the following:

• Key development of plans and schedules for current and newly won projects (FEED, Concept, DD)
• Focal point for progress curves and project progress
• Developing engineering and field schedules
• Monitor and measure project performance
• Redevelop project schedules when necessary including manpower allocation etc
• Part of the Projects teams and developing project controls

The Person

The successful incumbent will posses some or if not all of the following:

• Proven background in Planning for projects
• Ideally from an engineering background but not essential
• Degree qualified
• Established professional planner
• Knowledge Oil and Gas, Marine projects
• Expert on Primavera P3 and Microsoft project
• Excellent communication skills is crucial
