Naval Architect The Company With their luxurious new offices located in Central London, our client are viewed by many as one of the worlds foremost Design Consultancies in the Marine/Oil & Gas Industries.With other offices based in Aberdeen, the Middle east, USA and Asia they are recognized as one of the most prominent organizations in the field of design, analysis and surveying for sea based, fixed and floating structures. The Role The Naval Architect is required to work in the engineering department and perform a variety of tasks, covering design, analysis and surveys.You will work on small to large-scale projects, and these will most likely include the analysis or design or offshore fixed and floating structures. You will be required to occasionally travel abroad to meet clients and perform the necessary surveys and reports. Your likely destinations will be Europe, Africa and the USA.
The Candidate You will ideally have a degree in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering and will have at least one year of professional experience in the Marine/Shipping or Oil & Gas Industry. All candidates must be prepared to travel and work from the London offices.You will either be working for a design company, class society or other similar organization, and will be able to work on your own initiative when working abroad on surveys, or as part of a team whilst in-house. You must have the right to work in the EU and hold a degree qualification. |
