Due to an ever expanding workload, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Design Manager with a strong Civils background.
Candidate should be a Civil Engineering Graduate from a reputed University. He should have considerable experience in the design of temporary works enabling the construction of heavy civil works, such as bridges. He is expected to have a deep understanding of Structural Steel Design using BS 5950 and/or AISC LRFD and design of scaffolding using BS 5975 as well as working knowledge of soil mechanics and fluid mechanics. Experience in reinforced concrete design, bridge bearing design and/or design of temporary retaining wall systems will be considered an advantage. The successful candidate is expected to be able to manage a team of structural detailers and engineers in the production of drawings for temporary works.
