Our Process

Dynamic Service - Clients

Dynamic Positions pride ourselves on the quality of service that we deliver to our clients in our specialist sectors of Oil & Gas, Construction, Shipping, Marine and Health & Safety.  We like for our clients to see ourselves as an extension of their own business and therefore we go to great lengths to understand their business and their requirements.

A brief outline of the service you can expect from a Dynamic Positions' specialist recruiter:

  • Job Order

Once we receive a requirement from a client we will conduct an in-depth discussion with the recruiting manager to ascertain his/her exact requirements for the role and the reasons why the post is available.  It is important to get a feel for the department and the team that the successful applicant will be joining.  Job descriptions are important, but they do not tell the whole story and by spending time with the client at the beginning of the assignment will save time and effort for both parties during the recruitment process.

  • File Search

The port of call will be a thorough search through our extensive database for suitable candidates.

  • Advertising

We have relationships with many of the top internet job boards and will place adverts there and on our own website.  This will target the appropriate candidates.  Dynamic Positions will also place adverts in industry specific publications if deemed suitable for the position we are recruiting for.

  • Networking

Our specialist consultants will also be proactive in their search and will use their network of contacts to find additional candidates.

  • Pre-screening

The next stage in the process will be to pre-screen all the applicants and provide a shortlist for a more technical interview where the identified candidates will be told about the company and everything they need to know about the opportunity.

  • Submission

The suitable candidates will then be placed onto a shortlist and presented to the client.  Each submission will have a detailed synopsis of the candidate's career history, their strengths and suitability for the role.

  • Interview Preparation

Dynamic Positions always fully brief a candidate for an interview so they can give the best account of themselves.  We also brief the client before the interview so that he/she will be armed with the relevant knowledge to be able to conduct a thorough interview and get the most out of the experience.  Dynamic Positions shall also make all travel arrangements for the candidate as well as setting up the interview itself.

  • Interview Debrief

It is essential that we debrief a candidate and client as soon as possible after the interview.  This way we can clear up any concerns or uncertainties from both parties.  Although every interviewer and interviewee try to ask all the questions they can, sometimes some questions are left unasked and that is another area where a good recruitment consultant can add even more value to the process.

  • 2nd Interview Preparation

If a candidate is called for a second interview we shall ask then for the relevant references prior to interview.

  • Salary Negotiations

As a third party we will be privy to sensitive information from both our client and our candidate.  Therefore we are in the best position to conduct salary negotiations on behalf of our client and will be able to overcome most obstacles, meaning that the candidate will be able to start in the best possible frame of mind.

  • Transition Handling

The role of a Dynamic Positions' Recruitment Consultant does not stop once an offer has been accepted.  We keep close to the candidate to help him through his/her resignation and to guide them through any counter offer process that might occur.

  • Aftercare

We make sure that the candidate is happy in his/her role and will be able to act as an intermediary if there are any issues.
