Dynamic Positions - Company Overview
Dynamic Positions was founded in 2005 to provide a trained, first class workforce to some of the most prestigious and ambitious projects worldwide. Drawing on our industry knowledge, based on years of experience in the recruitment and manpower market sectors, Dynamic Positions provides high calibre individuals from the highest end of technical engineering to unskilled labour. We service the Global Construction, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), Offshore and Engineering Consultancy markets and are also capable of supplying the Global Hospitality sector.
Why diversify into manpower supply?
Dynamic Positions care about our clients. We like to see ourselves as an extension of their organisation, to work in partnership with them to provide a value added service which should free them to pursue their core business activities without distraction or delay.
Therefore when our overseas clients began to mention about the problems they were having in sourcing a trained and effective workforce, Dynamics decided to facilitate this request by offering a manpower service that was similar to our sister company's (Premier Recruitment Solutions) activities in the UK.
Premier Recruitment Solutions
Premier Recruitment Solutions have been one of the market leaders in the UK Construction Industry in the supply of Skilled, Unskilled and Semi-skilled labour for a number of years. Unfortunately it would be virtually impossible to supply our overseas clients with labour from the UK because earnings are generally higher than many of the regions where our client's projects are based. We therefore had to look to another country as a source of this labour.
Premier Recruitment is an established and registered Health & Safety training and testing centre for the UK recognised Construction Industries Training Board (CITB). All the labourers and construction workers that Premier Recruitment Solutions supply are trained and tested to Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) standard and carry official cards to that end. We are also in discussions with CITB as to whether we can offer the same training, testing and certification in Nepal.
Why Nepal?
From our market research and speaking to site/project managers, we found that the general consensus was that Nepal was a valuable source of labour, due to having a high unemployment rate, slow economy and a willingness of workers to travel abroad together with their expectations of earning.
We are aware from past experiences that Nepalese workers, as a whole, are extremely hard working, reliable, honest, dedicated and adaptable. The history of recruiting Nepalese manpower dates back over 200 years. It began with the Ghurkhas of Nepal being recruited into the colonial British Army in India during early 19th Century. The reputation of Nepalese workers still continues in this same spirit. Generally speaking Nepalese candidates are well educated, eager for training, speak a level of English and most are available for immediate placement.
Dynamic Nepal
In 2007 Dynamic Positions established an office in Kathmandu, Nepal. We have formed partnerships with the very best training institutions who educate workers to an international standard. By the end of 2009 Dynamic Positions will have it's own Training Academy in Kathmandu with British Instructors, training the workforce to UK City and Guild's Construction Standards and British Safety Council Site Safety. This will be our guarantee of the quality of the Work Force that we supply.
For our hospitality clients, we shall also be training our workforce in Food & Hygiene and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health standards.
Corporate Responsibility
Dynamic Positions are very proactive in listening and taking advice from the International Labour Organisation and are trying to address the recent issues and concerns that were highlighted in the last ILO Conference in Geneva. Therefore we will only work with organisations that provide their work force with suitable accommodation, wages, medical care and working conditions.
As part of our service we have contracted Nepal's only occupational health doctor to examine all candidates and issue a valid certificate to the affects of their fitness for the position applied for and that they are free from any disease or infection such T.B., HIV etc.
